FIELD NOTES / MEET YOUR SUPPLY SCOUT

A collector.
Not a gatekeeper.

Snag has a nose for art supplies and no use for pretend bargains. He scouts out the materials you want, with a notebook that tells you what we actually know.

THE SCOUT’S CODE

Small paws.
Clear ground rules.

01
Keep the source.
Real retailer listings. Exact products and variants. A missing price stays missing.
02
Show the evidence.
Undated imports are catalog snapshots, not live prices. Dated history begins with a successful retailer check.
03
Never invent the drop.
One checked price is one observation, not a trend. Undated snapshots never become price drops or target alerts.

PROOF BEFORE CONFETTI

No tall tales.
No made-up savings.

A price drop needs two dated checks: same retailer, same item, same currency. An imported price is not a starting line.

ON THE SHELF / NEXT STEP

A place in the notebook.

The product record is ready. Adding it did not run a price check.

Adding a link doesn’t invent a price. A price only appears after a successful check.

No mystery prices.

A product link first.
A real check next.
